California Intercontinental University (CALUNIVERSITY is a trademarked brandname registered in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office) is an online distance education institution of higher learning committed to the studying of Business Administration and Management.Formerly this university was identified as California University of Technology. Since its founding in March 2003, California Intercontinental University continues to be centered on implementing internet-based instruction and innovative technology to supply practical distance education and learning.
In 2005, the institution was given permission to manage in the state of California and to award undergraduate and graduate degrees by the Bureau of Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education (now known as the Bureau of Private Postsecondary Education or BPPE). By 2007, the university obtained legal recommendation from the state of California. In 2009, California Intercontinental University was approved by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance education .
